So can someone please post a complete wiring schematic of the heater/blower fan set-up from the fuse box to the switch to the fan motor? Thanks again. I do have the 1972 wiring diagram. I cant seem to figure out what goes in between the fan switch and the resistor. Followed these instructions and found a break in the connection between wire and connector in one of the wires of the adaptor. How this came to be, is a mystery but I managed to open the little female metal pin connector at the end of the wire, reattach it with fiddling and some tape en reassembled the thing.
