Austin Murphy, 91, of 22 Elm Street, died October 1, 2021 after a brief illness, just 11 days after the death of his beloved wife of 63 years, Pat. Mr. Murphy was born Nov. 7, 1929, in Brooklyn—only a week after the stock market crash that started the Great Depression. He was the eldest son of the late J.
