Good luck. AT&T Just Laid Fiber in on my Street Today. I've been waiting about 10 years for fiber to come here and now it finally is. Most of my neighborhood has had fiber except the block on my street, even down the street has it. It just had been fiber to the node at my address (around 25mbps).Saw an AT&T truck in my neighborhood 2 days ago and spoke with the guy running the truck, he told me that AT&T gigapower will be available in my neighbohood anywhere from 4 - 6 months. So it's looking like 7-9 months from start to finish.. I couldn't be more excited about going from 0mbps to 1000. A few weeks ago I noticed some trucks in the area which I know to be consistent with contractors running new utility lines. Last Friday they finally made it to my street and marked up my front yard with flags and spray paint and I now know its ATT installing Fiber Optic. No, the option wasn't available to pay the cost out of pocket.
